Happy Mothers Day

Here in Italy, as I understand it, Saturday is Mothers Day. In the United States of America motherhood will be honored on Sunday while we are traveling to Palermo to play the Sharks in a 4:00 p.m. game.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL OF YOU IN ANY COUNTRY IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE!

If you recall from our first meeting with the Sharks in our home opener three weeks ago, their QB went wild completing 34 of 66 passes for 5 TD's! Our defense will again be strongly tested to say the least.

Today was a day that I used to roam about the countryside a bit which led me to what looked to me to be preparations for Catania Harness Racing.

Looks quick to me, a trotter or a pacer?

Not fair in a long race if you ask me!

You have to be aggressive in close quarters!

Co-pilots are always good.

In Catania we call this a station wagon.

They are everywhere.

Proudly guarding Catania's people

Elephants walk-through for the Palermo Sharks

Scouts selling things in the Cityper parking lot, an international scouting sales technique!

Waves crashing at the Grand Hotel Baia Verde in Aci Castello where we use their internet service.
