Paul Camps at La Timpa

Paul loves the sea, so he decided to return to the La Timpa Campgrounds in Santa Maria La Scala for another five days nestled on the cliffs overlooking the Ionian Sea.

The view from Paul's bungalow

This is where he will slip into the sea.

That's more like it

The Fishing Fleet

Oh my God, an evil wizard turned our lovable left guard into. . .
a boat?

A duck just chillin' in the harbor

After getting Paul properly checked into his accomodations at La Timpa, we were off to Elephant headquarters where we had the first of our post season evaluation meetings.  It was a good one.

Next up was the Junior's practice at CUS at 8:00 p.m.

As is usual with this group, we had over 20 eager, ready to learn athletes show up for the one hour workout.  I really enjoy working with these young players, no drama just fun and learning.

When we wrapped it up, we picked up Laurie at Malibu and had a late night pizza at Jonica's in Aci Castello.

Nile's has a birthday party at Jonica's???

If not our young friend Niles from Camarillo, then who is this kid?

A girl and a pizza, can life get any better than this?

This is the first time that we have been to Jonica's this season when they have moved all of their tables and then some onto the piazza in front of their building.  It is a GREAT outdoor setting now that summer is here.

Tuesday is a National Holiday, the Day of the Republic.  Ten of our Elephant players are in Roma to try out for the Azzuri, the Italian National Team, that will play similar all-star teams from other European countries in a tournament in the near future.

GOOD LUCK ELEPHANTS!
