A Rare No Photo Monday

Monday, 6 April, 2015:

In a rarity, I did not take a single photograph today.

This was mainly due to staying in La Hacienda most of the day studying game tapes of the Reus Imperials who are 6-0 on the campaign and have mathematically clinched at least the co-championship of the Par Conference.

The Imperials sit alone atop the Serie B Par Conference, a full two games ahead of our second place, 4-2 Cobras with only two games left in the regular season.

They are as good on video tape as their record indicates being explosive on Offense having scored a Conference high 176 points. The Cobras are second in the Conference on Offense having chalked up a distant 101 points.

They are just as rugged on Defense having allowed a mere 35 points which also leads not just the Conference but all of the ten team Serie B. The Cobras have allowed opponents to score 77 points which is again second best in the Par Conference.

Both of us do solid work in the Kicking Game.

It will obviously be a tough game for us in Reus on Sunday, especially after two weeks of Semana Santa and Fiestas de Primavera revelry, plus a seven hour bus ride leaving Murcia at about 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning to get us in Reus in time for the 11:00 a.m. kickoff.

But, then again, that's why we play the game.

Go Cobras GO!!!
